Administrative History	n ancient chapelry in Prestbury parish. In 1869 it became the parish church for Wincle. In 1973 the parish was extended to include Wildboarclough (formerly served by Forest Chapel) and the parish was renamed “Wincle & Wildboarclough” until Wildboarclough became a separate parish in 1983
